Christopher Cheshire

Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Cheshire works closely with the President as the Chief Financial Officer and sets the Patriots Honor organization’s financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. Chris leads all financial administration, business planning, and budgeting. As a member of the senior leadership team, Chris works closely with a motivated and engaged finance and governance committee of the advisory board as the Treasurer.

In addition, he provides operational and strategic issues as they arise, including, but not limited to: providing strategic recommendations to the president based on financial analysis and projections; cost identification and allocation; and revenue and expense analysis. With Chris’ command resource management and operational skills, he vows to assist and honor veteran resources and funding with integrity and dedication to our service members in need.

Chris is a decorated veteran with over 20 years of service to his country and is currently serving in the United States Air Force Reserves as the 940th Air Refueling Wing’s Inspector General Director.  He initially enlisted with the Oregon Air National Guard in 1998 as a member of the 142nd Fighter Wing in Portland, Oregon. In 2003, he graduated from the University of Portland and received his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 695. Following his commission, Chris was stationed at Beale AFB and was assigned to the 9th Maintenance Squadron where he served as the Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Flight Commander. In 2004, Chris was assigned to the 9th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as the first-ever 12th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) Officer in Charge. While with the 12th AMU, he established the framework for future expansion of the RQ-4 Global Hawk mission, the delivery and acceptance of the Air Force’s first three Global Hawk weapon systems, and established a permanent Forward Operating Location. While on active duty, Chris held numerous maintenance positions as both a junior and Senior Maintenance Officer. He has managed maintenance operations on RQ-4, U-2, KC-135, and KC-10 aircraft to include facilities and budgets. Chris has served in key management positions as Flight Commander, Officer in Charge, Group Executive Officer, Maintenance Operations Officer, Quality Assurance Officer in Charge and Director of Wing Inspections. He has supported Operations NOBLE EAGLE, EDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, JOINT TASK FORCE – HORN OF AFRICA, NEW DAWN, INHERENT RESOLVE and Operation OLIVE HARVEST.

In 2014, Chris received a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Organizational studies from Azusa Pacific University. Chris continues to serve his country and honor his fellow veterans through the outstanding efforts of the Patriots Honor organization.

Chris lives in Roseville, California with his wife, Tricia, and their two children, Cameron and Charlotte.
