Stuart R. Bisland

As the Executive Director, Chief Master Sergeant Stuart “Biz” Bisland has overall strategic and operational responsibility for Patriots Honor Nonprofit’s staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission to fellow service members and their families. He has developed deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans to execute awareness and assistance our service men and women and families struggles. As Patriots Honor Organization Founder in 2013,  he serves as Executive Director, overseeing all aspects of the organization.

Specifically, Stuart ensures ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications and resources needed to achieve Patriots Honor strategic goals. In addition Stuart actively engage and energize Patriots Honor Nonprofit volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and funders to not only meet but exceed in honoring, rebuilding and improving the lives of our service members after the devastating effects of war.

As a Chief Master Sergeant with more than 34 years in the Air Force, Stuart has decided to devote his life works helping other service members and their families in recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration to a better life. Now serving as the Senior Maintenance Superintendent for the 13th Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale AFB, California, he ensures RQ-4 Global Hawk Aircraft, Flight Operations, Maintenance and personnel are trained and equipped to deploy in a moments notice. Effectively utilizing air operations and resources, Stuart employs and trains the best of the best to exceed expectations of today’s Air Force. Stuart was born in Long Island, New York and entered the Air Force October 1979.  His background includes various duties in aircraft maintenance and operational production at Squadron, Group and Wing levels. Additionally, he has deployed in operational missions in support of  Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Desert Fox, Just Cause, Northern Watch, Elder Forest, Crisis Reach, Restore Hope, Deny Flight, Deliberate Guard, Decisive Endeavor, Deliberate Forge, Global Guardian, Global Lightning, Allied Force, Joint Forge, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Phoenix Banner, Phoenix Scorpion III, and Noble Eagle.

Stuart’s senior military leadership experience coupled with his vast education and in depth program management skills has vitalized the Patriots Honor mission and desire to help our own.

Stuart  is married to Rose, they reside in California and have two sons Stephan and Daniel, and one daughter Michelle. Daniel is currently serving in the United States Army, Airborne.
